Yes, absolutely secure. We take the utmost care with the information that you provide us when placing an order on our website (or through any other means).  The server that hosts our store encrypts the transmission of all credit card and personal customer information using the Internet-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol.  During the encryption process, information is scrambled into small bits of code that cannot be read as they travel to us over the Internet. Once we receive the encrypted information, we use a private, one-of-a-kind key to decode it.

Once you have finished adding items to your shopping cart and are ready to complete your transaction, click on the “Checkout” button. You will then be transferred to our secure server and asked to either create a new account or place an order without an account.

If you expect to purchase additional items from GetitGator or, you may want to consider setting up an account. If you choose to do so, our site will maintain on file your billing and shipping information as well as your payment data so you do not have to fill out this information each time you visit our secure site. You will also have the ability to view your complete history of purchasing at GetItGator.

Once you have decided how to proceed, you will be prompted to enter the name and address of the intended recipient of your shipment (i.e. your delivery information), followed by your billing details. You will have the option of indicating that the shipping and billing details are the same, if applicable.

After completing the shipping information, you will need to enter in your payment details.  Once you have completed the form, You will be brought to a screen that provides an order summary. Once you are ready to complete your order, click on the “Submit order”.  You will receive an on-screen order confirmation, as well as a second confirmation via e-mail.

After you complete the checkout process, a receipt will appear on your screen detailing your final order including shipping address, your billing address, and the items that are being sent to your shipping address. Please keep this receipt for your reference.

You will also receive confirmation via e-mail that we have received your order. (Please be sure to enter your e-mail address correctly on the order form so that we can be sure to deliver your confirmation to you.)


We have a standard R 99 delivery rate nationwide however orders over R 2000 are delivered for FREE.

You may also COLLECT your item from our offices after successful payment.

GetItGator offers 2 convenient methods of delivery:

  1. Courier – We deliver directly to your home or office, anywhere in South Africa.  All delivery and tracking details are supplied to you at checkout;
  2. Collect –  You can choose to collect from our Auckland Park Offic. Click here for address details and directions. Collection hours: Weekdays 09h00 – 14h00

Deliveries typically take 2-3 days, unless otherwise stated on the product.

We unfortunately can’t make changes to your delivery address once payment has been received and you have received your Payment Confirmation email.

We do not ship outside of South African borders at this time.


If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you or if the product is not as described on the Website (or if it is missing any accessories), please notify us at orders@getitgator.co.za and GetiGator (Pty) Ltd will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available); or credit your account with the purchase price of the product.

Should a product be damaged at the time of delivery / collection, please notify us of such delivery / collection by sending us an email to orders@getitgator.co.za.

GetiGator (Pty) Ltd will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, repair / replace the product as soon as possible (if such repair / replacement is possible) or credit your account with the purchase price of the product (or refund you if that is your preference). Credits and refunds are normally handled within 10 days of logging the return (bear in mind that refunds can take 1-4 working days to reflect in your account).

GetiGator (Pty) Ltd will do its best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of a high quality and without any defects.

If you have received a product which turns out to be defective, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect, but in any event within 6 months after delivery / collection of the product.

You will be able to return an unwanted product to us at no charge, provided:

  • it is undamaged and unused, with the original labels still attached;
  • it is in the original packaging it came in, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact .
  • you log a return with us at orders@getitgator.co.za

Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, GetiGator (Pty) Ltd will credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 30 days of the return (or refund you if that is your preference).

GetitGator (Pty) Ltd will collect the product from you at no charge. Our courier is entitled to refuse collection of a product that is not properly packaged for transport.

We utilise PayFast. A highly secure and efficient payment gateway to ensure your information is secure and protected.

We do not store your credit card information.

Absolutely! And often more so than many other payment methods!

  • PayFast is PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider (the highest level).
  • PayFast is developed with the same demands on security and performance as web sites used for banking services and share trading. Your account login, personal details, and all money transactions are secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology with high security 256 bit encryption.
  • Your sensitive financial information (like credit/debit card details) is never sent to the people you pay! So you can send money without sending your financial information! So you don’t need to worry about paying people you don’t know.
  • We make use of 3D Secure to further enhance the security of credit card transactions on PayFast.
